Since I don't do Facebook or Twitter, I thought this would be the best way to let you know when and where I am appearing and what I've been doing. Many of you have asked, and I honestly can't keep up with where all of you are. So here I am, with all the latest info in one place. I hope to be able to keep in touch with more of you this way, and now you can contact me right here at the site. Thanks for visiting.

2020 -

Now almost everything is shut down because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Please stay safe and follow the lead of health officials,  your governor and his staff. I missed out on playing the musical Legally Blonde, the Foley Memorial Service, the Strongsville Community Band February concert, and I also had to get a sub for a Dixieland Jazz concert on Feb. 25th at the Strongsville Senior Center. Bummer.

Friday, Feb. 7th was another ER experience, this time at Southwest General Medical Center. Blood clots...yes, plural. Multiple clots. Spent 2 days and three nights getting the blood thinner (coumadin) regulated and stabilized. Came home on the 10th. i got in about 20 minutes TOTAL practice for all of February as I gradually tried to work myself back into shape.

Saturday, Feb 1st I endured three hours in the ER at St. John Medical Center in Westlake. Kidney stone, ouch.

I did play a rehearsal with the Strongsville City Jazz Big Band on Tuesday, Jan. 28th in preparation for the Feb. 22nd memorial service for my friend Dr. Bill Foley who passed in December at age 80. We were at BW at the same time.

January was a very light month for me this year. Normally a slow month for playing opportunities, I decided to have cataract surgery (both eyes) on the 8th and 14th. I highly recommend Brecksville Surgery Center/Cleveland Eye Clinic (not related to Cleveland Clinic). I'm still adjusting but MAY NOT need glasses except for reading.
